Apple's new HomePod is so good it made me angry. It is an astonishing piece of audio hardware but unless you already use Apple Music, or you're prepared to abandon your chosen music streaming service (AND switch to an iOS device if you're currently on Android), then Apple are very happy for you to be left out of their cool audio nerds club.
