On September 10th, Alibaba Group celebrated the 20th anniversary of the founding of the company by Jack Ma and a group of young entrepreneurs who, in building the Alibaba, pioneered China’s ecommerce industry. The other milestone they marked this week is the transferring of the Chairman title from Jack to Daniel Zhang, a leadership transition announced by the company a year ago. Jack will be focusing more attention on his rural education and philanthropic initiatives.
