Medium sized seems to be the hardest. It’s quite easy to be a thrusting small project. It’s quite easy to do little bits of innovation on the side. It’s quite easy to be big, to have dominance of a market, to have expert staff, to leverage scale for pricing , awareness etc . Oil tankers can’t change fast but they rarely have to. It’s small companies trying to get medium sized or it’s large companies trying to do medium sized things where it all gets very hard. Often it seems to be the worst of both. …see more
