Back in 2004, I was still the only creative in marketing at Netflix . I use the term 'creative' because I was tasked with more than design. It was messaging, content, and more. That year, I got a new boss (who ended up being fantastic to work for) and was asked to prepare a "what I do" sheet for him. I just ran across it again and realized nothing I had done prior to working at Netflix had prepared me to do all of this. It really came down to ongoing curiousity and learning.
