This South Dakota anti-meth campaign by Broadhead Co was amazingly well-executed. Like many, my first reaction was “what were they thinking?!” But that’s exactly what they were counting on. It got a very important campaign outsized results by everyone sharing it based on that reaction. I’m betting that like me, almost everyone realized it after they shared. Brilliant. Edit: I've seen some say that the money spent on it would have been better spent on actual treatment. Perhaps, but I am not commenting on that as it is not my area of expertise. I've also seen that some think it normalizes meth use because it implies everyone in the ad is on meth - no, it doesn't. And lastly, some are saying just because this raised awareness and has people talking that there are better ways to have done it. I would challenge them to come up with a campaign that would gain half as much traction. #campaigns #awareness #psa #antimeth
