Media paywalls during a time of crisis are a very bad idea. They become a lethal digital divide. Everyone needs easy access to truthful media — yet it's only for those that pay. But the subscribers will pay a hundred times more if their neighbors struggle without the right information. Paywalls are nonsense and make no sense during times of crisis.
