Poverty will become unconscionable just as slavery became in the 19th century. We can give everyone safe place to live, safe water, safe food, safe schools, a safe future. We have enormous productive capacities that we have to reign-in to bolster market prices yet it costs so little. In another ten years our manufacturing capacities will be even greater. If we can end poverty it's completely immoral not to do it.
