Twitter and other social media platforms are not online therapy. Don't use social media to get things off your chest. That is not it's purpose.  As a platform for thoughtful activism? Yes, social media is easy, convenient and useful. As a tool to share or learn new information? Absolutely. There's nothing like it for up to the minute everything. As a way to rant? No. That's bad for the image.  Remember, the internet is forever. And if you disagree I have two words for you to consider - screen grab.
