Walking The Patient-Centered Walk...(Or Being All Talk...) This is the response I got from my doctor today when I asked her (or her team) to find my blood type in my medical records. I tried to find the information myself but it’s not visible to me—the patient! I’ve been part of this same Integrated medical health system literally my entire life, having been borne there. I’ve had surgery and other procedures there so I know they have this information. So what’s this answer about? Laziness and not actually being patient-centered.
