A Black American woman born in Dinwiddie County, Virgina in 1930 helped the world sort itself out. Mrs. West's mathematical brilliance fueled the development of the Global Positioning System. So let's review: A Black American woman named #KatherineJohnson helped send men into outer space. A Black American woman named Gladys West helped us get to where we need to go on Earth. And in 2021, a Black American woman named Kizzmekia S. Corbett PhD helped develop the #Moderna #vaccine against #COVID19 . I don't know about you, but it sounds like a good idea to have a Black American woman in your life.
