Are We a Nation of Bullies? Well... Apparently, some people are threatening public health officials over developing public health measures to protect The Public(!!!) from COVID-19. Everyone understands that Public Health Officials are here to help All Of Us, right? What is wrong with people? Although shutdown measures are broadly popular, a vocal minority opposes them vociferously. There have been attacks on public health officials’ race, gender, sexual orientation and appearance. And, according to this article, some of the criticisms “seem to be harsher for women.” Really? I’m absolutely dumbfounded.
