If you’d told me in January 2020 that I would have to learn how to moderate a panel discussion over Zoom —let’s just say I wouldn’t have believed you. I had only just mastered the skill of logging into the darned app! I was still agonizing over the weekly journalists’ meetings I had to lead, with reporters in Uganda and Mexico and Mongolia. I longed to just get through one of those meetings without a technical meltdown. But when that job was in my rear view window, I couldn’t predict what the future held, as far as my interaction with #video was concerned. So when the 92nd Street Y in New York asked me to lead a virtual discussion about #socialisolation during #COVID19 , I accepted eagerly.
