Spent the past few days building my #brainpower around the most urgent #globalhealth issues related to #COVID19 . Thanks to Pathfinder International and Women in Global Health for convening a discussion about the need for women’s leadership in policy development and #coronavirus response. Next, The Aspen Institute ’s webinar, led by Alice Lin Fabiano of Johnson & Johnson #GlobalHealth gave me some terrific insights into the additional challenges faced by #nurses and #midwives during the pandemic, and featured one of my favorite people, 2019 Aspen Healthy Communities Fellow Jennie Joseph of #CommonSenseChildbirth in Orlando. Finally, it felt like a 4 am family reunion this morning as I joined the #Nairobi -based AMREF webinar about covering #thecoronavirus on the African continent.
