What a fabulous way to start my Tuesday—reading my dear friend Jamila Robinson ’s joyous Instagram post about her essay featured in this month’s FOOD AND WINE Magazine! I'm so proud to say that I’ve followed Jamila’s journey from college intern at The Detroit Free Press to today, where she’s an editorial director for Atlantic 57 with a passion for all things culinary and refined. But the most remarkable thing about Jamila is her equal devotion to nurturing journalistic talent for people of color who want to write about #food , #dining and the #culinaryarts .
