For #FlashbackFriday , after leaving the home of the African Union on Thursday, something made me remember I'd posted pictures of my first trip there in March of 2012. If you're lucky, you'll live long enough to forget half of the really cool experiences you've had. I recall that during my first trip, I was awed by the impressive architecture and the gilded brilliance of the #Africa emblem at the plenary hall entrance. But how could I have misplaced memories of interviewing former President of #Ghana Jerry Rawlings? Seven lucky years later, my return to the AU reminded me that there's still so much work to be done, so many more experiences to learn and grow from.
