Here’s a great example of why I’m so excited about joining the Global Press Journal team. I’ll be working with journalists like Raihana Maqbool , who is covering the ongoing tensions for people in the Indian-administered #Jammu and #Kashmir state. The government has revoked the state’s semi-autonomous status and instituted a media blackout. Raihana had to fly to #Delhi to download her reporting about the impact of the government’s actions, and to work with GPJ editors.
