The Future of Healthcare is Here Now there is an ‘end-to-end’ enterprise telehealth solution for all care environments. Meaning... One company, Teladoc, can offer a single solution for providing a entire virtual care strategy covering the full range of acuity – from critical to chronic to everyday care! Now, I’m not promoting this company (or any when I write!) but I am promoting the reality of an alternative reality for how patients access and receive medical and nursing care. The promise here is that the entire medical and patient ‘workforce’ will be worlds apart when giving and getting care. Providers might be in their kitchen, wearing pajamas while virtually treating patients in the ICU...patients might be in their living room while getting medical attention. But, as we all know, there is more to high quality care than only access to healthcare professionals (although important); Having your care provider know you as a person with unique goals and hopes when you go through medical challenges is also critical.
