Congolese youth are using #digitaltechnology that they developed to combat #Ebola . The Internews Network , The Congolese Ministry of Health and Kinshasa Digital collaborated to organize a #hackathon to link digital technology with the fight against the Ebola epidemic that has been ravaging the eastern region of the country since August 2018. The winners of the hackathon--all young Congolese men and women in their 20s--developed an #app designed to facilitate the real-time transmission of #data and #information between communities and the Ebola response teams.
