I'm pleased to share some exciting news: Sightsavers ' one billion #neglectedtropicaldiseases treatments video has been named as a finalist in the Charity Film Awards . This means that the video is in the top 5 of its category and to win, and Sightsavers needs to get as many votes as possible. In the video you see seven-year-old Dorcas take a combined treatment for #onchocerciasis and #lymphaticfilariasis , as part of one of Sightsavers’ flagship programmes, UNITED, which is funded by the UK's Department for International Development (DFID) .
