Could it be that #America is trying to catch up with countries like #Rwanda and #Bolivia ? The majority of Rwanda's Members of Parliament are women, as are Bolivia's. #Ethiopia has a new woman President and Supreme Court Chief, and 50 percent of that country's MPs are women. Okay, I know the United States has a very, VERY long way to go to even reach parity, but the news from #Nevada is encouraging. When women participate in #policymaking decisions at every level, countries prosper along a broad series of indicators: health, #economics , #sustainabledevelopment , #education and #socialjustice .
