While I was in Tokyo for the Universal Health Coverage Day Summit last month, I had the great privilege of reconnecting with Dr. Githinji Gitahi . I first met him in #Kenya, when he was a Managing Director for Nation Media Group , and was impressed by his dynamism and focus. Since that time, Dr. Gitahi joined AMREF HEALTH AFRICA as their Group CEO, and it's in that capacity that he was recently named Steering Committee Co-Chair of the #UHC2030 Coalition. He's equally dynamic and passionate about his vision for #universalhealthcare, which he hopes to see happening across the globe in his lifetime.
