Work as a “calling:” I wrote this many months ago but tonight I was reminded of the importance of a “job well done” after attending an Employee Recognition dinner for a local hospital. Doctors, nurses, managers and operation support professionals were recognized for exemplifying their core values of “patients first, quality and compassion .” All—and I mean all—these people have a calling, not just a job!
