Apple’s push & pivot towards digital services naturally means the company will want as big of a footprint in payments as possible. the more of a payments ecosystem they create, the more valuable digital services become and the more strategic a hybrid close/open payments system becomes. i dare say that payments & identity are now strategic imperatives for Apple. i would not be surprised if Apple moves into micro payments eventually, and with some sort of digital coin. #payments #fintech #banking #financialservices …see more
