A week of keynotes kept me focused and inspired: @SSCM - What an honor to give a keynote at the 50th anniversary event of The Society of Critical Care Medicine! I dedicated my presentation to what impact COVID and the accompanying digital health revolution will have on critical care medicine and how digital health will make patients the point of care. As chronic patients will be cared for at home or wherever they are, critical care patients will require a larger percentage of hospital space in the future. MSD - I shared the most important aspects of understanding a pharma company’s future consumers. What will the patient of the future be like, what contact will they have with their doctors and most importantly how can you create products that fit these future scenarios?
