The pandemic has moved consumers away from physical mostly to digital-first, but new PYMNTS data shows that the shift from digital-first to auto-refill of consumer’s predictable purchases is what could accelerate it further – and across any item that fits that description. Once consumers get used to this convenience, it’s easy for them to go down the shopping list and move more and more of those items to a digital basket that consumers just set and forget.
