When Visa launched in 1958, the same year NASA was founded, it was called BankAmericard and was an experimental Californian offering. Fast forward many leaps for mankind later, and Visa is the largest payments network in the world connecting billions of cards to tens of millions of businesses worldwide. Visa EVP Bill Sheedy tells me that the company’s just getting warmed up.
