Had a conversation with my Brother in laws last night.... Guys that I love and trust in various roles and levels of management about the whole glass ceiling/metoo thing... if a guy in a leadership position protects you from an “a$$hole” and acknowledges the bad behavior... just jerky or sexist, not physically inappropriate or illegal. Is that good enough?? My personal opinion is yes because the alternative is not having the opportunity to be exposed to that of level work and the choice is given to the woman as to if she wants to stay or leave. Is it any different than a leader protecting a guy from that same jerk? The world is not perfect and somethings are outside of that persons control.
