Debates continue to rage over whether flattening the curve will help, whether economic costs will be worse than human lives, whether hydroxychloroquine will help, whether the BCG vaccine is protecting India, whether the recovery will be V/U/W/L-shaped, whether making noise and lighting lamps help lift spirits... I have managed to stay away from all of them because I DON'T KNOW. What I DO know for sure (to borrow Oprah's phrase) is that a virus, by definition, is contagious, so we need to avoid future waves. That we need to not only change our habits, but we need a system to slow it down.
