I don't have to tell you what happened next. I finished my book and hit all my deadlines. Why? Because I didn't want to lose $10,000! This technique I used to stay on track and finish my work is called a price pact. I created a barrier that allowed me to overcome distraction and bring out my best, most efficient work.
