Think about how much energy and how many of our resources we spend to protect our stuff. We buy security systems for our homes 🏠 We have alarms on our cars 🚗 We put our money in banks 🏦 But when it comes to our time, the one resource that’s truly finite, we aren’t nearly as protective. We allow ourselves to get distracted when we should spend time on our work or with our loved ones. We aren’t fully present in the moments we should be. There is nothing more valuable than our time. So why aren’t we more protective of it? If we want to complete the tasks we set out to do and lead more fulfilling lives, we have to first make good use of our time.
