I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Ozan Varol about his upcoming book, Think Like a Rocket Scientist. In Ozan's own words, the book lays out, "nine simple strategies from rocket science that you can use to make giant leaps in work and life—whether it’s landing your dream job, accelerating your business, or creating the next breakthrough product." One of the more interesting parts of our conversation was learning about his view on the "fail fast, fail often" mantra. When we fail, we tend to assign blame to external factors—customers, competitors, and so on. Instead, Ozan says, we should aim to learn fast, because "failure can be the best teacher if you approach it properly." We also discussed the book writing process, other interesting parts of behavior science, and more.
