Perhaps someone can explain Amazon pricing to me. I have a new book on trauma. It’s cover is below. Sadly, it is a book that is needed now, particularly as we reflect on reopening schools and colleges, all of which should at least aim to be trauma responsive. Amazon is selling the book at way over retail for paperback today and yesterday. That takes book out of reach for some. Amazon’s price today: $42.83! Yipes. Teachers College Press: $34.95. What’s up with this? I want educators and social workers to be able to buy the book. And, so you know, Press offers discounts for bulk and group sales and for events I do. Brava to the Press.
