Which medical specialty do you think has the biggest potential and need for health apps and chatbots? Based on all the questions I receive, I see that it's mental health - and with that, the fields of psychiatry and psychology. Of course it interests all of us. Not only medical professionals, but everyone wanting to take care of their psyche. No wonder: one in four people are affected by mental or neurological disorders at some point in our lives - yet even a fraction of them receive any treatment. It's not only the stigma and indifference, but also the lack of specialists that makes mental health a field craving for digital therapeutics. The variety of such support is increasingly effective: often even more than human therapists!
