What troubles you the most about our future? Let's play a game: ask me about the chances for the outcome of any public event that interests you - from healthcare through economics to politics. I became a superforecaster at the Good Judgement Project recently - a group of futurists working together with companies and institutions to help their decisions. I learn a lot there, and we work very hard to refine our forecasting skills. The project also seems to be effective - GJP superforecasters are reportedly 30% more accurate than intelligence officers with access to actual classified information. Now I invite you to brainstorm with me to provide likelihood of any future event of public concern together. Just write in a comment what you want to know about (e.g. "How many A.I.-based algorithms will the FDA approve by the end of 2020?"), and provide the options (from two to six items).
