Stripe has just acquired Paystack for $200+ million. Huge congrats Shola Akinlade Ezra Olubi and the Paystack team. Founded in Lagos, Nigeria in 2016, Paystack was the first Nigerian company to get accepted into Y Combinator and always described themselves as the “Stripe of Africa.” Paycheck went on to raise funding from Stripe and Visa before their sale this week to Stripe.
