Tell me one thing that's obvious in your job but people don't know about it. Here is mine: research papers are usually behind paywalls and cost a lot to access. But authors have the right to send you the paper. If you approach me about a paper I authored, I'm allowed to send it to you for free and I'm sure all scientists would be happy to do the same. Partially due to this, all papers we publish in The Medical Futurist Institute are in open access. The downside of this is that we have to pay a lot of money to make a paper open access.
