There's always been a community and education component Since the humble beginning of SoGal. Last year, we created a home for our global community called @ SoGal Foundation , a sister entity to SoGal Ventures , and received the 501c3 status. This year, with the hard work of Elizabeth Galbut , Kelley Henry , Ann Drabick and Hannah Kate Kelley , we became the very selected few grantees of the prestigious Kauffman Foundation. It's a major milestone for our young foundation that's worth celebrating. With the grant, we are expanding from 40 to 80 global chapters, and putting on more meaningful programming for diverse entrepreneurs around the world.
