Turned out that all female panelists on the Asian Venture Capital Journal (AVCJ) Hong Kong forum are part of SheVC! I founded SheVC to create a community for women investors (there are so few of us), elevate their careers and make the industry more diverse-friendly. After all, women investors are an even more rare breed than women entrepreneurs (~10% of all investors)! We grew from 10 women at one dinner table to almost 130 members from notable VC firms, corporate VC, LPs and angels, and we’re growing daily purely through members’ referrals.
