Your A.I. Prescription, 3-2-1 Lift Off! Yesterday was the first time I presented my new keynote narrative about my favorite topic: artificial intelligence in healthcare. The audience was a group of medical futurists to-be, students from the Biomedical Instrumentation subject at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. I talked about why you already live with A.I., and how we can get the best out of it for the sake of patients. I also had impromptu expert assistance by Ármin Juhász (my FIDE-accredited chess trainer) and Gabor Csato MD, MSc (CEO of the Hungarian National Ambulance Service). It was fun to have them add their points of view to the story! From the questions, it was good to see how clearly these future inventors and engineers see the potentials and threats of A.I., as well as their key role in keeping control of it: the majority of questions were about ethical concerns and responsibility issues.
