A short update for the few of you who are interested in my chess journey. I'm over my first amateur competition (which was a real slap in the face), just finished this amazing book and I keep on working 2 hours every day. I'm around 1500 according to the online chess rating systems and I just became a member of the MTK chess family therefore I plan to make my professional debut in November to get #FIDE rating. The one thing I've definitely learnt about AI since last November by playing chess is to admire what a deep learning algorithm can do. When #AlphaZero Leela (rated around 3400) plays, it is literally like magic for me and I watch games from Carlssen, Ding and Nakamura every day.
