I recently gave a keynote about "Privacy in the Digital Health Era" at GLOBSEC 2019 in Bratislava. I talked about the advantages of digital health and their impact on my lifestyle that come with privacy issues (sometimes nightmares): - heart rate monitor - fitness smartwatch - dirrect-to-consumer genetic tests - a whole genome sequencing service - microbiome testing - apps logging my habits and even calorie intake - gadgets such as ECG or stress trackers that I use from time to time - and so on. I also mentioned that I'm happy to give up some of my privacy for a chance for a longer and healthier life.
