At the risk of trolls beating down my door with their nastiness, I need to ask this question. It may sound snarky but it is heartfelt: What expertise does Jared Kushner have that will help protect, inform and guide our nation through a pandemic? Is he a doctor? NO. Is he an epidemiologist? NO. Is he a pharma researcher? NO Is he a public health expert? NO. Is he a psychologist or psychotherapist or trauma expert? NO. Is he a person with decades of leadership experience and gray hair and wisdom? NO. So, what is it that he brings to the nation? Why is HE speaking on the pandemic? That's frightening on so many levels it is hard to list them all. He needs to go home and social distance. He needs to step off the podium. Oh.
