The video shows a 72y old female with a right parasagittal meningioma before a neurosurgery procedure. Using Microsoft HoloLens, the surgeon is able to see a patient-specific 3D model based on the pre-operative MRI, placed with accuracy inside of the patient: in yellow the brain cortex, in green the meningioma and in blue and red the two spino-thalamic tracts. This offers more information to the surgeon, who can better decide the position of the patient for the procedure and the correct approach for the craniotomy and the reaching of the tumor. https://lnkd.in/gXpfnCG …see more
