On my way to BC —- I could happily make Vancouver and UBC my home. Speaking to British Columbia School Counselors annual meeting at Pacific Gateway Hotel near airport. Doing a day long session tomorrow on how to deal with trauma in the schools. Many hands on activities and some theory to ground practice. Will have takeaways (literal and figurative) and have postcards related to my forthcoming book on addressing trauma in our schools (Teachers College Press 2020). Canadian groups are engaged and thoughtful and participatory. Excited to learn with and from then. One giveaway: kimochis!
