Technology alone is not the answer to filling gaps in care for our nation's seniors. In the 20 years I have worked in healthcare and side by side with caregivers I have seen more technology ideas than I can count that fall short because the people with the ideas didn't really understand the complexity of the problem. Maybe finally everyone gets that people are essential in providing great care. Technology solutions and education that elevate the role of caregivers and connect everyone more efficiently is most impactful. It's okay to admit we still need actual humans in some situations.
