Read this and ask if this would work at small struggling colleges. Too much money goes to administrators. And if closing or fragile, why not have administrative team lower salary or forgo salary? After all, the buck starts and stops with them. One administrator alleged he could not do that because he would lose his check signing authority. Really??? I don’t think so. Money speaks.
