I am deeply struck by the contrast between the consistent and moving description of President Bush and the silent description of our current president. In a sense, the words civility, decency, respect, cooperative nature, pleasantness, decent, honor and service have lost their connection to the current leader and our body politic. The silent comparison should make us wake up and speak up and out about how we want our leaders to act. OK, that's too optimistic. But, the contrast matters. It signals, It messages. Listen to it.
