Story is a good one and increased Pell enrollees is commendable. But, even if every Ivy were to do this, there would be more than 7 million Pell students attending other, non-elite colleges. Shouldn't that group get media attention? Seems we have a fetish with the elites -- in all arenas. Yet, for many students, the Ivys are not ideal educational start points. Can't anyone see that?
