Headed to read Lady Lucy's Quest at Democracy Prep in SE D.C. Look forward to being w/ Grades K --2 and their teachers. Early ed matters. Reading matters. Buckets. Educational gap will not close if we do not start early (and often). Take a day and go read to young kids at a school, after-school program or shelter near you. It will make your heart flutter and will reinforce our obligation to insure the next generation is in good hands.
