I get protests. (Product of the 60's). I get the anger running both ways. I get the tensions. But, this is key: kids are listening and watching and with social media so available, little is hidden. The tension levels are high. Kids are copying tone and rhetoric. This is hard on teachers and parents. Time to look at how we are impacting a generation --- and we should worry. For real. Now.
